Dr. Sarah Nemanic, DVM, MS, PhD, DACVR
Education
I attended veterinary school at the University of California, Davis graduating with a DVM in 2006. I spent two years in Tucson, AZ, for a small animal rotating internship in private practice followed by a year as an emergency veterinarian in a specialty hospital. In 2011, I finished my residency in Diagnostic Imaging at Michigan State University. I became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in September, 2011.
Before attending veterinary school, I graduated with a BS from the University of California, San Diego in animal physiology and neuroscience (1996) and a MS and PhD in neuroscience at the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center (1999, 2002).
Professional Experience
In July 2011, I was hired as an Assistant Professor at Oregon State University, leaving the university as an Associate Professor in October, 2018. In 2014, I also started interpreting cases for teleradiology, focusing primarily on CT and MRI. Since 2018, I have worked exclusively in teleradiology interpreting CT and MRI in cats and dogs.
